While reading this piece I found myself struggling through it the first time around. As I read more and more I came to the realization that everyone sees something in a different way. What stuck out to me in this article is when the author was talking about the the iceberg how it is big and unseen underneath the water. I relate this to my own life and the struggles I have with my boss, otherwise known as my grandfather. When doing a project he always uses the famous line “ it will only take a minute” he sees the top of the iceberg that is not covered by the water. But I see the whole iceberg which shows the difference in the way that our minds work. Overall this was an interesting read that allowed me to look at things in a new light. Another thing in this reading that grabbed me was that Loyola feels that visual imagination is extremely important.
